Lavendar Noir Shaving Soap (Ultima)

$23.95 USD $24.95 USD

Lavendar Noir is a warm & somewhat dark lavender scent which I think will become a big time crowd pleaser. I’m not aware of anything smelling quite like this and believe this will represent our luxury line quite well. As mentioned, Lavender Noir offers a very warm and wonderful lavender fragrance using two types of lavender. LN  leads with its tangy passion of Bergamot, while lavender and geranium blend into a fresh note, chic and chivalrous all at once. The lavender is most prominent. I’m using two types of lavender. Lavender absolute, which is paste-like and lavender Grosso a beautiful French hybrid. The composition is enhanced by the natural elegance of pink pepper, which I use quite often. The base settles on a bed of vanilla and agarwood with an intriguing note of coffee added. Lastly, I used Siam Benzoin direct from Thailand.

bergamot, mandarin, lavender, geranium, sambac jasmine, oud, patchouli, amber, pink pepper, vanilla, coffee, amber, patchouli, benzoin.

Her side of the story...

Her Side of the Story
I saw you reach for me.
Shaky hands. Cheap blade. That look in your eyelike you were hoping Id be gentle.

Darling, Im not here to coddle.

Im lavender, yes. But not the kind they put in linen drawers or lullabies.
Im the kind they lock in black glass bottles and hide behind false bookshelves. I wear spice like silk and let the vetiver trail behind me like cigarette smoke in a jazz club.

You loaded the brush too fast. Thats okay.
I bloom best when a man slows down.

And when I lathered across your facewarm, slick, low and hummingyou finally understood.
Im not here to shout.
Im here to stay.

By the time the blade touched your cheek, you werent shaving.
You were confessing.

The Soap That Made Me Regret Every Shower Ive Ever Taken Without It

Let me start by saying: I didnt use Lavender Noir I experienced it.

This soap is what James Bond would smell like if he traded in his martini for a double espresso and his tuxedo for a silk robe and a straight razor. The scent hits you with lavender so suave it might try to steal your partner. Two kinds of lavender, mind youbecause apparently one wasnt enough to seduce your senses into complete submission.

The opening is bergamot and mandarin, but dont be fooledits not citrus like refreshing orange soda. No. This is citrus that wears Italian leather shoes, drinks scotch in a study, and maybejust maybehas a mysterious past in espionage.

Then it gets deep. Like staring into the fire after a long day of riding through 19th-century France deep. Pink pepper, geranium, and jasmine samba in with flair. Then oud, patchouli, and amber roll in like a slow, confident thunderstorm of luxury and shadowy intentions.

And just when I thought Id figured it outcoffee. Not "Starbucks in July" coffee. I mean a rich, roasted note that whispers, Youre important. Go back to bed. You own silk sheets now.

Lather? Like shaving with whipped velvet. Glide? Like your razor is dancing the Viennese Waltz. Scent longevity? Lets just say my bathroom still smells like a Parisian lounge 3 hours after I left for work.

Final verdict? This soap smells like a gentleman thief who only steals hearts and fine colognes. Buy it. Shave with it. Then write apology letters to all the basic soaps you've ever loved before.
