Scent isn’t as pronounced as I was hoping for, but is still a nice scent - I consider the smell reminiscent to a“silver scent” for men’s cologne
Awesome masculin, fresh scent. The soap from A&E is top notch. I've had none better
Spartacus is solidly in my top shaving soapsrich, powerful, and sophisticated. The scent hits that classic Creed Aventus vibe with a juicy blend of pineapple, blackcurrant, and bergamot up front, then settles into a smoky, woody heart of birch, oakmoss, and patchouli. It loads into the brush easily (though its a thirsty soap, so go heavy on the water) and develops into a dense, creamy lather that protects and cushions beautifully. My skin feels insanely smooth and hydrated afterwardthis soaps postshave feel is nextlevel. Honestly, if you love Aventus-type scents and crave performance, Spartacus is an absolute winner.
Simply one of the best versions of this scent around on one of the best shave soap bases around. If you like that classic creed you will love this.
Okay, so here's the thing: this soap smells amazing. Its strong, masculine, like a cologne ad for a guy who owns three boats. But I wasnt READY. I was a humble man with a mild Rockwell razor and suddenly Im in a gladiator arena. My technique couldnt keep up. Will try again next week with better lighting and more self-respect.
