B1 Lancer Razor

$49.95 USD

I’m extremely proud to introduce the B1 Lancer Razor. This is our very first large scale production offering. This updated butterfly style razor is extremely well made, efficient and will provide comfortable shaves for years to come. I believe this is the first incorporating a spring to open doors, which are reminiscent of the payload doors of the B1 Lancer Bomber. The heavy duty spring is rated at 25,000 cycles. The machine gun color adds to the impressive design, along with the brass pin towards bottom of our handle.

Unique for sure

Heres a polished, enthusiastic review for the Ariana & Evans B1 Lancer Razor:

The B1 Lancer is a game-changer in the shaving worldsleek, solid, and truly innovative. I love the unique push-to-open butterfly head: just press the bottom, drop in a blade, and gono twisting required. The build quality feels top-notch, with a well-balanced aluminum handle and rugged zinc alloy head that give a confident, secure grip . While its classified as medium-aggressive, the shave it delivers is incredibly smooth and efficientnot harsh, but incredibly effective at cutting cleanly with minimal passes . That robust spring mechanism is rated for 25,000 cycles, so its designed to last. Plus, the feel in handthanks to the generous knurling and thoughtful weight distributionis just incredibly satisfying . In short, the B1 Lancer looks sharp, shaves smart, and adds a touch of luxury to every shavedefinitely worth adding to your rotation.

I just tried the Lancer B1. Wow!

I gave the Lancer B1 my first try this morning. I'm a daily shaver, so it didn't receive a multi-day-beard workout. This seems a tougher test. Is its aggression and efficiency too much to accommodate a potential role as a daily driver? My long-standing favorite is a 1st edition brass Karve "Christopher Bradley" equipped with a C plate and loaded with a Feather or Gillette Nacet blade. I loaded a Feather into the Lancer B1, used my favorite soap, and the result was a shave comparable to that of the Karve. I'm very pleased. The Lancer's "lighter" razor head provides a high-pitched aural feedback I at first found off-putting. But the girthy handle and overall weight ensure no pressure needs to be applied despite the "pingy" feedback. It was easy to ascertain the handle angle. The comfortable knurling assures no slippage. This is not a twist-to-open razor. The brass butterfly door pushbutton at the bottom of the handle provides serious resistance. I found the best way to load and unload a blade was to press the handle bottom to the sink counter and hold the razor doors open. That's a serious spring connecting the brass button and butterfly door mechanism! I'm pleased with my purchase. It came at a terrific price.
