Woods & Spices Aftershave Splash (ultima)
Woods & Spices started with my friend Mattia, who was describing a scent he wanted for his new beard care line in Italy. The scent is a dry wood, sweetened with a hint of vanilla. The spice comes from pink pepper, saffron & bay leaf and a very, very small amount of cinnamon. The base, well…it’s wonderful. This scent would be a year-round fragrance. the splash is presented in our luxurious 5oz bottles.
Notes: Clementine, orange blossom, saffron, elemi, castorium, vanilla, guaic wood, sandalwood, Himalayan Cedar, Virginian Cedar, agarwood, & mohagany
Applied Woods & Spice splash and immediately felt like I should be in a flannel shirt giving cryptic advice to younger men in crisis.
The burn was briefjust enough to remind me I'm alive. Then came the warmth: woodsmoke, subtle spice, and the calm confidence of a man who knows how to both field dress a deer and pair a red wine.
It doesnt just finish the shaveit seals the myth.
Wear it when:
You need gravitas in a flannel.
Youre chopping metaphorical wood.
You want people to assume your cologne has a backstory.
An excellent splash. Pairs great with the soap obviously but they do a heck of a job in getting the scents to be perfectly the same. Ive had plenty other makers not make the scents be identical and theyve been over powering in one or more areas. Does not happen here very professional.
I use this skin protectant to recover from shaving. Ariana and Evans splashes are best in class, with elite skin feel. Particularly when coupled with any Ariana and Evans soap base.
woods and spices is definitely a scent i can see many others wearing year around. this scent is at the top of my list for edps that need to be purchased. and for the quality of the splash itself no balm/lotion needed.
Smells like a Man should smell, sting and confident. Only hang up is that it takes A&E a couple of days to ship out. This is do to them being a small business that takes their time making a quality product.
