They say the scent lingers where the world still dreams. I believe them.

I splashed it on and was takenjust for a momentto a shaded glen where light filters through silver leaves and time forgets to move. The sting was brief, like the farewell of a friend long known. Then came peace. Cool woods. Gentle spice. A fog that does not conceal, but calms.

It is not the scent of power, nor of battle. It is the scent of rest, of quiet watches beneath green boughs, of long walks without destination.

Outstanding soap base, was thick and marshmallow like, clean walk in the woods after a rain scent. Lovely stuff !

The dry down on this scent DOES NOT get the hype it deserves! such an amazing masculine cologne type scent, one of my top favorite scents from the cream lineup. and of course you can never go wrong with any soap base from A&E. peter is a soap wizard

Mysterious, earthy, and completely mesmerizing! Sylvan Fog has a deep, woody, and slightly smoky aroma that feels incredibly refined. Its like stepping into a misty forest after a rainstorm. The post-shave feel is outstanding, leaving my skin hydrated and comfortable. A true masterpiece!

I've tried plenty of other petrichor type scents in my life and none of them have even come close to this. It is so well blended, so great on the dry down, and so much smoother than you would expect. These kind of scents can be a bit polarizing, but even people who wouldn't normally consider this to be in their wheelhouse really like this scent (like my wife). You just can't get any better in the genre for anywhere near the price.
