Daniele Maullu Legacy Aftershave Splash
Daniele's barbering journey commenced in 2010, mentored by his father, Emanuele Maullu, a lifelong barber who imparted the craft to him. They launched their inaugural barbershop, Gentleman Barber Shop, in Rome in 2016, which was met with resounding success. By 2024, Daniele's brother, Davide Maullu, had joined the venture, prompting a rebranding to "Barberia Maullu" in homage to their lineage.
Daniele inaugurated a second establishment, "Barberia Tondere," in Rome's pulsing center in 2022, which became our regular rendezvous point. In 2024, he also pioneered "Il Mvnda Rasvm," Rome's first traditional shaving festival, celebrating the craft's artistry and heritage, drawing together aficionados, experts & industry leading manufacturers in a shared passion.
Presently, Daniele is on a global quest to explore the world's most extraordinary barbershops. His ambition is to unearth and relay these gems to the community, fostering a culture of exchange and honoring one of history's most enduring trades. Despite his humility, Daniele stands as one of the world's most celebrated barbers, boasting a TikTok following of 2.3 million. His barbershops exude elegance, class, and sophistication, reflecting the essence of our 'Legacy' collaboration.
During gathering in Rome earlier this year, Daniele proposed a partnership to craft a bespoke soap. This marked the inception of our collaborative effort. He set forth specific aspirations, challenging me to devise a 'legacy' soap akin to MdC, timeless in its appeal. Additionally, he requested an Oud-scented creation for this joint venture. Considering his profession, I suggested our first fragrance be a quintessential barbershop aroma. Ultimately, we conceived a distinguished scent, a fusion of our collective vision, encapsulated in the novel Legacy base.
Our Legacy bottles are gargantuan. Each bottle contains 8.5 ounces of our all new alcohol based Legacy splashes. yes, you'll feel the alcohol on these ;)

This is almost a balm and splash in one. So hydrating and nourishing with zero burn despite containing alcohol. I usually follow splashes with a balm post-shave, but this is the first time I only needed a splash. Skin felt amazing afterwards. Very impressed

Unrivaled! The fragrance is absolutely sublime (clean, classy & sophisticated, yet not at all overdone), and, equally amazing, is its ability to nourish & hydrate your skin after a close shave. Rarely does a splash offer both, but this does in spades. Legacy is a true masterpiece!
Amazing aftershave and the scent. I would call it royal citrus because that's what it smells like, perfect late spring/summer scent. While other citrus aftershave either smell like lime, lemon, lemonade-this is citrus on another level. More mature for mature men. Classic Italian scent elevated.
This is an instant classic! The scent is refined and sophisticated, making me feel like I just stepped out of an upscale barbershop. The post-shave feel is phenomenalno irritation, just a refreshing finish. I cant get enough of this scent. Definitely a must-have for any wet shaving enthusiast!
absolutely no face lotion/balm needed after using this aftershave! peter does his research and seems like he refuses to put out bad products! I've yet to purchase something from A&E that i haven't loved.
This splash is an identical match to the soap and comes in a HUGE bottle. It will take me a long time to finish this.
Honestly? How is this still in stock with the sale price? First of all, this is one of the best scents in all of wet shaving.. second, it is almost literally a gallon, or seems like it. Finally, it is Legacy formula and the post-shave feel is ELITE. Grab this while it is still around, unless you don't want the splash of 10,000 shaves and don't want to smell incredible.
