I’ll never forget that afternoon at Daniele’s family barbershop. After catching up, we slipped out to a nearby restaurant for lunch. That’s when Daniele’s father turned to me with a spark in his eye. He wanted me to capture the magic of Latte e Menta, a beloved Roman drink Italians adore from childhood onward.
One sip, and I understood. Creamy, cool, with a hint of mint. Generations of love and sharing laughs. Before I left, the family gifted me a bottle of the mint syrup used by the restaurant to bring home as inspiration and said, "Make something that carries its soul." And so, we did.
